Hearing that 1 in 7 people in the United States faces food insecurity is a sobering statistic. Yet, it doesn’t always inspire action until we empathize with those facing hunger. Our mission has been to find and tell stories of real people that have fallen on hard times and through the help of a local food bank, have been able to bridge a temporary gap in providing food for their families.
Over the course of five+ years, we’ve presented more than 20 stories for Feeding America that chronicle stories of hunger and introduce new innovative programs like Invest An Acre, Food Is Medicine and Food Rescue.
