Across the waves of grain and fruited plains, the food traditions that shape our nation are being preserved and rediscovered. Join Capri Cafaro as she travels America’s back roads to uncover incredible stories of the foods we love to grow, harvest, cook and celebrate.

This series was developed by showrunner Jesse Roesler in collaboration with host Capri Cafaro, is produced by Credo Nonfiction, funded by American Farmland Trust, distributed by National Public Television and presented by PBS member station WTTW in Chicago.

Season 1 is now airing nationwide on 300+ local PBS affiliates, nationally on Create, and is streaming on PBS Passport. Season 2 is currently in production and will premiere in April, 2025.
