Field, Forest, Feast

A James Beard Award-winning wild food series that celebrates the beauty and bounty of nature, licensed to Tastemade.

Opt outside with a culinary adventurer.

In the six-episode first season of Field, Forest, Feast, Forager Chef Alan Bergo shows viewers how to find, harvest and cook America's most plentiful wild food ingredients by taking us into a striking new landscape and creating a three course meal with each new micro-season.

This series was developed by showrunner Jesse Roesler and Forager Chef Alan Bergo during Covid lockdowns when both the production and restaurant industries slowed to a hault. Credo Nonfiction then licensed the first season to Tastemade.

“The show, which was created with a team of just three people – Jesse, Alan and editor Sam Kaiser, beat out some big-budget food television in the Instructional Visual Media Category: Christopher Kimball’s “Milk Street Kitchen” on American Public Television, and “Everything You Need to Know About Collard Greens” on Food Network.”
